Mr Luisito U delos Santos is currently the Director of the Planning and Policy Service of the Maritime Industry Authority of the Republic of the Philippines. He represents the Philippines at the Maritime Experts Group of the APEC Transportation Working Group.

He is the government official primarily responsible for the effective implementation of the Philippines Maritime Industry Development Plan 2028. He holds a Master of Science degree in Maritime Affairs at the World Maritime University in Malmo, Sweden.
