Brief Introduction

Korea International Cruise Institute(KICI) is the only professional cruise research institution in Korea that has been awarded an operating license by the Korea Marine &Fisheries Department (MOF, Korea).

Introduction of Main Work Content

■ The Purpose of The Establishment of The Organization:

It improves the development of the national and regional economy by promoting the development of the cruise industry, and meanwhile carries forward the integration of various cruise lines to develop Korea’s position as a hub for the cruise industry in the area of Northeast Asia.

■ Work Contents As Follows:

– Collect and manage related information on the domestic and international cruise industry.

– Research and investigate policies and systems related to the cruise industry.

– Cultivate outstanding talents for the cruise industry.

– Do a good job in the cruise industry publicity work.

– Hosting international conferences and fairs related to cruise ships, etc.

– Organization and operation of domestic and international cruise industry networks.
