Ronâle Taylor

Office of International Transportation and Trade U.S. Department of Transportation

Ms. Ronâle Taylor is the Senior International Transportation Specialist in the Office of International Transportation and Trade, at the U.S. Department Transportation (USDOT).  She also serves as Desk Officer for Asia Pacific with responsibility for promoting international transportation and trade policies, technical assistance, and trade facilitation.

During her tenure at USDOT, she’s served in various capacities within the Department, including coordinating the Department’s key engagement for bi-national and multilateral initiatives such as Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and supporting Diplomatic Programs and Protocol activities in the region.

Ms. Taylor is Chair of APEC Women in Transportation, an initiative launched in 2011 under the APEC Transportation Working Group to advance opportunities for women, including career advancement and equal access to safe transportation systems and highlight the accomplishments of women across transportation sectors.

Ms. Taylor received a B.S. in Human Relations (Sociology) from Trinity Washington University and is continuing studies in Global Policy.  She has been with the Federal government for over 36 years, and is a proud mother of three children and one grandchild.
